Southwark Council’s development partner, Lendlease is regenerating over 28 acres across three sites at the heart of Elephant & Castle, in what is the latest major regeneration opportunity in zone 1 London. The vision for the £1.5 billion regeneration is to build on the area’s strengths and vibrant character in order to re-establish Elephant & Castle as one of London’s most flourishing urban quarters. The Elephant & Castle regeneration is of a scale rarely seen in central London and includes almost 3,000 new homes, plus office, retail, community, leisure and restaurant space.
