Aftermath of burst water main in Herne Hill, London

Firemen pump out water from basements following a burst water main which closed the otherwise busy junction of Half Moon Lane and Dulwich Road in the south London area of Herne Hill. Emergency services were called at about 5am, when water inundated local businesses, forcing shopkeepers and owners to evacuate their properties and leave before electricity supplies were shut down.
