  • As bright sunlight fills a bare studio room, and a wooden cross is propped up in the corner, Paula Douthett (left) and three other members of the evangelical Sacred Dance Ministry (Group) perform a moment from the biblical nativity scene in her house at Milbourne St Andrew, Dorset, England. Together they are acting as part of the International Christian Dance Fellowship whose performers include performers, choreographers and teachers of all styles of dance technique, as well as those who dance in worship, intercession, healing, evangelism and prophetic interpretation. In the middle, a lady pretends to be holding the baby Jesus while the others play the roles of angels as they express wonder and admiration for this miraculous moment.

  • In the weeks before Christmas day in December, the Lord Mayor of London makes a speech in front of invited guests and VIPs, hosting his annual party in the Great Hall at his official town hall - the Guildhall - in the historic financial district of the City of London. Inviting Greater London's borough Mayors, they can each invite worthy children for an afternoon's fancy dress party. The Guildhall has been used as a town hall for several hundred years, and is still the ceremonial centre of the City of London. The term Guildhall refers both to the whole building and to its main room, which is a medieval style great hall similar to those at many Oxbridge colleges. The great hall is believed to be on the site of an earlier Guildhall, and has large mediaeval crypts underneath. During the Roman period it was the site of an amphitheatre, the largest in Britannia.

  • We are looking upwards into the faces of two surgeons wearing medical masks and surgical gowns as they carry out a wisdom tooth extraction procedure at the famous St. Bartholomews (Barts) Hospital in London, England. With eyes focussed on their work, the two health professionals are intently looking into the mouth of their patient who is covered in clean green sheets but remains unseen to the viewer. Strong operating theatre lights shine down on to the patient and we see the men's gloved hands reaching carefully, avoiding infection or bacterial problems like MRSA. In the centre of frame a lady is sitting on her partner's lap, holding her security pass and wearing a chintzy royal blue ball gown. The male friend is holding her around the waist with both hands and they chat with a third person on the end. Behind the lady in blue are three other people, one of whom is inspecting her cleavage to the surprise of another lady who is staring wide-eyed down at the lady's bosoms.
