  • Climbing club and gritstone geology on Long Causeway cliffs, Peak District National Park, Derbyshire...Located in the Peak District National Park in England Stanage Edge is the largest of the gritstone edges that overlook Hathersage in Derbyshire. Stanage Edge at approximately 4 miles in length and 458m at its highest point is the largest of the gritstone cliffs that overlook Hathersage, Derbyshire. The area is one of the most popular locations in the Peak District National Park for climbing and walking with hundreds of rock climbing routes to challenge all ranges of ability. Walkers are drawn to the area to enjoy the varied moorland scenery with stunning views across the surrounding countryside including Hathersage, Castleton and the 'Shivering Mountain', Mam Tor in the west. A walk along the edge is an easy route but the exposed cliff can make conditions difficult throughout the year as it is often battered by wind, rain and regular snowfall in the winter months. There are a number of popular walks including routes along the remains of a Roman Road and towards Redmires Reservoir to the east as well as longer walks such as those including the nearby Longshaw Estate. • A young woman holds the hand of her 5 year-old brother during a visit to London zoo in the early 1960s. Looking closely at a tame llama that has been hitched up to a harness and about to pull children for a short ride around the enclosures of London's zoo in Regents Park. It was recorded on a film camera by the boy's father, an amateur photographer in 1964.The picture shows us a memory of nostalgia in an era from the last century.

  • Reaching out to a tower of scaffolding, high above the skyline of North London, a member of a company of abseiling construction scaffold workers make use of circus skills. Suspended with ropes, carabinas and a seat harness normally used by mountaineers, this man is wearing a safety helmet and blue overalls and his dirty gloved hand is about to make contact with yellow iron work as his colleague looks skyward, already tethered to the reinforced structure. A 60s tower block is immediately behind and suburban houses and streets are below. We see a man about to make contact with a place of safety, reaching out to his destination while spread across London's skies. Lit by flash, this picture is confusing because the viewer sees a false sense of size and scale between the iron work and the flats behind.

The Windsor Park Equestrian Club is situated among the 5,000 acres of the Windsor Great Park which in turn is part of the 14,000 acre Windsor Estate spanning two counties, Surrey and Berkshire.
