It will provide the main access to the Olympic park for the 2012 Games and a central 'street' will give 75% of Olympic visitors access to the main stadium so retail space and so far 95% of the centre has been let. It is claimed that up to 8,500 permanent jobs will be created by the retail sector.

The final bill for the 2012 Olympics could be ten times higher than the original estimate, according to an investigation. The predicted cost of the games when London won the bid in 2005 was £2.37billion. That figure has now spiralled to more than £12billion and could reach as much as £24billion, the Sky Sports investigation claims. The Olympics public sector funding package, which covers the building of the venues, security and policing, was upped to around £9.3bn in 2007. This land was transformed to become a 2.5 Sq Km sporting complex, once industrial businesses and now the venue of eight venues including the main arena, Aquatics Centre and Velodrome plus the athletes' Olympic Village.

He reached 8 ft 11.1 in (2.72 m)[2][3] in height and weighed 485 lb (220 kg) at his death at age 22. His great size and his continued growth in adulthood was due to hypertrophy of his pituitary gland which results in an abnormally high level of human growth hormone. He showed no indication of an end to his growth even at the time of his death.

Actor Harry Enfield was the face of the media campaign on tv and in print to help promote the young industry, still then an expensive accessory for the ordinary Briton. Mercury Communications, was a national telephone company in the United Kingdom, formed in 1981 as a subsidiary of Cable & Wireless to challenge the monopoly of British Telecom (BT). Mercury was the first competitor to BT, and although it proved only moderately successful at challenging their dominance, it was to set the path for new communication companies to attempt the same. In 1997, Mercury ceased to exist as a brand with its amalgamation into the operations of Cable & Wireless Communications and totally exited from the telecommunications business by 1999.

After a hard day's fishing he gazes forward to open sea where an almost uninterrupted view of sea and horizon is seen beyond except for a small island is faintly in view. Even small remote atoll communites in the Maldives have strong phone signals and many also have good Wi-Fi connections. He and his crew have been catching Yellow Fin Tuna in the seas north of the capital Male in this Islamic Republic. Their catch is for export to the EU and in particular, the UK's supermarkets. There is no limit and no obvious destination, just infinity and the thought of tomorrow.
