  • A black student works diligently alongside a white-skinned man at the communications company Cable & Wireless in London, England. We see in the foreground, the dark-skinned young man with a short beard is writing with a pencil that has a rubber on the top but the man in the background is out of focus. It is an image of ethnic diversity, of a multicultural Britain with students living and working uninterrupted side-by-side. They are both concentrating on their work in a generic office or classroom, perhaps entering an examination or performing a corporate test.

  • An elderly man of South-Asian descent stands waiting for a bus in Southall, West London. To his right is a Bollywood action-hero poster, the tough-man actor is posing with his biceps bulging and in anothr picture, is hugging a beautiful girl. The movie advertised is by Rakesh Roshan, a producer, director and former actor in Bollywood films. It is an image of paradox, the old gentleman using a walking stick and dressed against a British multicultural winter, with hat and overcoat - and a tropical romance played out on the movie poster. It may be sunny but the biting winter day is raw with cold.

  • Two young British Asian men stand in front of a Bollywood action hero poster, while waiting for a bus in Southhall, West London, England. The lads are in their early twenties and are dressed against the cold European winter. The muscular Indian man in the movie poster is in his prime, posing as a tough guy and making a serious face towards the viewer, his rippling biceps wet with sweat. We see two ordinary young men living the harsh reality of life in a big English city, with all the pressures, paradoxes and cultural differences of India or Bangladesh, and that of multicultural Britain. It may be sunny but the biting winter day is raw with cold.

This European airline is showing the greatest of respect to the ruling classes in this Gulf State. Similar portraits of kings and princes are seen throughout the arab world, especially where business is being conducted and contracts being sought. Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V. (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines), known by its initials KLM, is the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands. KLM's headquarters is in Amstelveen near its hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. KLM operates worldwide scheduled passenger and cargo services to more than 90 destinations. It is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name.

  • A couple of mixed-race have put their heads through the apertures made in a painting that depicts Prince Albert and Queen Victoria, on the Palace Pier at Brighton, on the south coast of England. The faces peep through this traditional attraction that few can resist, even in the 21st century. The man's face looks disturbingly incongruous in the place where the Prince Consort's white German character would be. There is a message here of a changing multi-cultural British society where these friends or partners are from other ethnic backgrounds and where mixed-marriages are now commonplace, as opposed to the Victorian era when attitudes to racism and race-relations were vastly different.
