  • For the first time in 55 years, Beefeaters with the GMB trade union have come out on strike and picket outside the Tower of London, on 22nd January 2019, in London England. The protest  about pension changes means Beefeaters and other staff's final salary pensions will be replaced by an inferior plan leaving them “significantly worse off.” GMB and PCS both said 50 of their members participated in the indistrial action at the Tower of London, Kensington Palace and Hampton Court. <br />
