Served by a waiter who pours from a silver pot into china cups, three ladies enjoy the afternoon after a day's shopping in nearby shopping streets. The decor is classically dark English wood and the tablecloth is crisply white with a scones with jam and sponges.

Sweetings Restaurant first opened in 1889 and has carried out serving lunch ever since. Sweetings prides itself on offering a wide variety of English sustainable fish, from wild fresh Scottish Salmon, usually the first fish of the season, to the native oysters from West Mersea on the Essex coast.

In the sixth year of the Terrace Wires Commission - and in celebration of the 150th anniversary of St Pancras International and the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy of Arts, at one of London's mainline station, the London hub for Eurostar - the 20 metre-long greeting to commuters reads 'I Want My Time With You' and Emin thinks that arriving by train and being met by a lover as they put their arms around them, is very romantic." The Brexit-opposing artist also said she wanted to make "a statement that reaches out to everybody from Europe arriving in to London".

  • Catering staff polish silverware and glasses at the tables soon to be occupied by City of London dignitaries at the Guildhall when the Rt. Hon. Kenneth Clarke MP, the then-Chancellor in John Major's Conservative government of makes his annual speech. Tables and cutlery are prepared before the bankers and financiers file in for this formal banquet in the ancient City's town hall. The Banker's Dinner is held every in June when the Chancellor of the Exchequer delivers a speech known as the Mansion House Speech hosted by the Lord Mayor of London when the Chancellor delivers his forecast predicts growth and prosperity.

He is noted for his contributions to contemporary international cuisine and his exceptional culinary skills. White has been dubbed the first celebrity chef  enfant terrible[of the UK restaurant scene and the Godfather[of modern cooking. White was, at the time, the youngest chef ever to have been awarded three Michelin stars.

  • Nick Leeson is known as the former Rogue Trader whose financial market risk-taking caused the biggest financial scandal of the 20th century when he brought about the collapse of his employer, Barings Bank (personal bank to HM The Queen) in 1995. Leeson's role and subsequent jailing is one of the most notorious episodes in debacles in modern financial history. Leeson is now CEO of Galway United Football Club (http://www.galwayunitedfc.ie/) whose home ground is at Terryland Park, founded in 1024 and with a capacity of 6,000. Galway are presently (Oct 2008) bottom of the Irish Premier Division but Leeson is still busy giving motivational speeches to companies around the world.
